Samantha Padawer, LCSW
Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and related disorders. She also specializes in Trauma therapy. She treats children, adolescents, and adults.
She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Florida and her masters in social work from the University of Memphis.
Samantha's background includes working with clients with social anxiety, OCD, trichotillomania, and other anxiety related disorders in research as well as in individual and group settings. She is formally trained in CBT with Exposure and Response prevention, the leading treatment for OCD; as well as in TF-CBT, a trauma focused therapy.
Samantha's experience includes work at Daybreak Treatment Center, Continuum Healthcare, Health Connect America, and the Transformation Center for Women. She most recently worked at Compass Intervention Center, a residential treatment center for children and adolescents. She worked with those who have undergone severe trauma, anxiety, OCD, psychiatric illnesses, conduct disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, etc.
Samantha co-facilitated an OCD support group and currently co-facilitates the Memphis Trichotillomania support group.
